It is a very simple recipe.
I will pen down the recipe with eyeball measurements. Please bear with me!
Small baby potatoes yellow - 1 pound bag, parboiled and cut into halves with skin on.
Mustard oil - 2 tbsp. Use any oil if mustard oil is too much for you.
Hing - a fat pinch
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1&1/2 to 2 tbsp, coarsely ground. I grind fresh for this.
Red chili powder to taste
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp or to taste
Salt to taste
Dry mint powder - 2 tsp
Heat and smoke mustard oil. Lower the heat to sim.
Add all the msalas. Saute for few seconds on low heat.
Add potatoes to the spices. Toss nicely so that masala covers each aloo.
Increase the heat to medium high and cook till potatoes are crispy and done.
Sheetal Prasad - AherraoI make it using soaked Chana Dal.....
Soak Chana Dal for 5 6 hrs.
Grind it. (Add Ginger, Garlic, Green Chillies with it)
1/2 sp. Garam Masala
1 sp. Crushed groundnuts
2sp. Rice flour
Rest as described by you in the given recipe.
